Tungsten Carbide (TC) Tissue Forceps are manufactured with Tungsten Carbide.
Inserts in the tips of the Forcep. The TC platform is in front of the 1x2 teeth on the distal tip and is used to provide a secure grip of the needle, suture or tissue.
Tungsten Carbide is much harder and longer lasting than Stainless Steel. Tungsten Carbide Tissue Forceps are designated by Gold on the proximal end of the Forcep.
